Betty Sircy
Witness member Betty Sircy is a native of Kingsport, Tenn., who now makes her home in Westmoreland, Tenn. She is the mother of fellow group member, Krista Wright.
Betty was raised in a Pentecostal church and always loved the old time Gospel songs she and her family sang at their church. “They inspired and blessed me,” she said. As a child, she had a serious kidney disease, Bright’s Disease, which is often fatal. Betty tells of her healing: “My mother got the Pentecostal church to pray over a handkerchief, and then pinned it on me. I was 11 years old at the time. The next morning, I had no symptoms and was healed!”
Now a member of a Baptist Church, Betty still loves to sing those old time Gospel songs both at her church and with her group, Witness. And when she sings, you know she has truly been touched by God.
